New Features
Master Products
You want to quickly identify which products are master products.
Master products are now shown in bold on documents and when searching for products using Find Product or the Stock Card. A label is also shown on the Stock Card.
You want to search for master products.
We've improved the way that we label master codes in the database. This has improved the speed of searching in Find Product and Stock Card. We've made improvements to Catalogue Import and when loading attributes too.
Work Wear Kits
You want to automatically add master products to work wear kits.
Work wear kits rely on the master product being added so quantity budgets can be set, so when adding child products to a work wear kit, the master products are automatically added whenever a work wear kit's detail line is added or modified. This lets you concentrate on adding the child products. Changing the quantity budgets on the master codes can be done afterwards.
Logo Products
You want the logo product quantity to change automatically when you change its product quantity.
Logo Products are used in conjunction with HorizonWeb to let your customers order products customized with embellishments that are specific to that customer. Logo products' quantities now update when:
- the product quantity is amended in a transaction.
- adding products with logo products from Find Product
You want to add products with logo products to documents quickly.
By making all products that have logo product swaps flat-pack products, we have improved performance when adding detail lines to documents. You will now see products with a logo swap are highlighted green in documents.
You want to have products automatically designated as flat-pack when a logo product swap is configured.
- Adding a logo swap to a product automatically sets it as a flat-pack product.
- Master products with logo product swaps will additionally have their child products set as flat-pack.
- When Importing Additionals and Swaps, setting a Logo type swap will set the original product as flat-pack.
Add Quantities
You want to know the size and colour of the products on the Add Quantities list.
Sometimes these aren't included in the product description written by the supplier, so we've added two regularly used attributes to Add Quantities.
Automatic Catalogue Update
You want to keep catalogues up to date automatically.
Items are now flagged as out-of-use on the Weekly (Sunday) and Monthly catalogue updates.
Define Import
You want to create a new import definition file.
We've made some improvements to the usability of Define Import, surrounding the naming of imports, deleting imports and the availability of buttons.
Horizon API
You want to know what quantity breaks have been configured for the product.
Quantity break information can now be obtained from the v2 Prices call. This merges catalogue and contract quantity break information.
You want to return the price for a product.
Horizon API can now deal with the scenario where customers with the same trader code exist. This should have been impossible, but someone managed to do it!
You want to create contacts that have access to e-commerce.
Contacts created via the Horizon API or Orders and Receipts Import Service opXML (when Allow orders to create traders is selected) are now set as Allow web access.
Export Data Service
You want to export department codes to EvolutionX
We've improved the export of Horizon department/EvolutionX cost centre codes, so codes can be reused when appropriate.
You want to export contact details to EvolutionX
We've improved the export of contact names to EvolutionX. What is used in the export now uses information from the Contact window in an order of preference.
You want to set the delivery overrides in EvolutionX
We no longer sync the Delivery Override settings in Accounts > [Company name] > Edit from Horizon. Set these in EvolutionX.
You want to problem solve contract exports to EvolutionX
We've added logging to contract and order-pad export.
Trader
You want department code and name to be mandatory.
When creating or editing Departments, department code and name are now mandatory. This makes using cost centres on EvolutionX a much better experience for your customers.
Processing
You want to export cXML Credit Memos.
Credit Memo cXML files are now created when raising credits. We have added:
- a purpose of "lineLevelCreditMemo";
- InvoicePartner - invoiceFrom name and address;
- InvoicePartner - billTo name and address;
- Document reference, which holds the reference of the originating invoice. This is also given in a new custom field called original_invoice;
- The original invoice date and reference;
- A credit reason. We always send "Credit for invoice";
- The money values for each item in a credit memo are negative;
- If your customer wants to use positive total values in the summary, a Trader Special setting cXMLPositiveCreditTotals=true is available.
We have more enhancements to this feature soon.

Apostrophes can be included in cXML invoices' email addresses without using an HTML entity.
