Additional / Swaps are used when adding a product to an order. Additional products are offered to the user entering the sales order in Horizon, or to the customer creating an order in HorizonWeb.
A Logo type swap is used with HorizonWeb to offer logo products in Product Details. Logo products are embellishments to the original product that are specific to the customer. Logo swaps also work with Horizon when taking orders directly. Logo products are displayed in the sales order in italics.
When using master and child products:
- Create the logo swap for the master product (as below);
- Create the child product and set its master product. It will inherit the logo swap from the master product.
Switch sells can be imported from a file and edited here on the Stock Card.
Creating or Editing an Additional or Swap
- In the Stock menu, click Products. The Stock Card opens.
- Browse to the product that requires a logo product, then click Additional/Swaps.
- Select the line from the grid, or to create a new additional or swap, click [+], bottom right of the window.
- Change the following settings:
- Code – Code you want to offer (mandatory)
- Actions – select Logo
- Offer choice – select to make the logo embellishment optional or clear to make the logo embellishment required.
- Click the tick, bottom right of the grid, to confirm. The product will automatically be set as a Flat-pack product.
