Stock Card – Details – Additional / Swaps

Additional / Swaps are used when adding a product to an order. Additional products are offered to the user entering the sales order in Horizon, or to the customer creating an order in HorizonWeb.

There are five types of additionals/swaps:

• Additional – adds the product as well as the original product
• Replace – replaces the product with a different product
• Switch – switches the product, but leaves the item the same, so it looks like the original product entered to the customer
• Web swap – offers the product as a swap to HorizonWeb customers in the cart.
• Logo – offers logo products to embellish the original product

Switch sells can be imported from a file and edited here on the Stock Card.

The grid displays:

• Action
• Offer
• Stocked
• Only if none
• Code
• Details
• Class

Creating or Editing an Additional or Swap

1. Browse for a product, then click Additional/Swaps.
2. Select the line from the grid, or to create a new additional or swap, click [+], bottom right of the window.
3. Change the following settings:
   • Code – Code you want to offer (mandatory).
   • Actions – Action you wish to be performed
     • Additional – adds the product as well as the original product
     • Replace – replaces the product with a different product
     • Switch – switches the product, but leaves the item the same, so it looks like the original product entered to the customer
     • Web swap – offers the product as a swap to HorizonWeb customers in the cart.
     • Logo – offers logo products to embellish the original product

     Note: Only one Web swap can be set for each product.

   • Swap class – what group the swap is classed in, greener option, cheaper, more expensive
   • If none of original – offer additional/swap if none of the original product is in free stock
   • If swap in stock – provides the choice to take the additional/swap if the product is in stock
   • Offer choice – provides the choice to take the additional/swap

     Note: Offer choice must be selected for a Web swap to be offered in the cart. For logo products, selecting Offer choice makes the logo optional on C:Product Details, clearing Offer choice makes the logo required.

   • Info only – only displays as information to say that additional products are available
4. Click the tick, bottom right of the grid to confirm.

Note: Flat-pack products will swap if the swap item is in stock. Existing stock is used, then the original item is used to complete the order's quantity.

Note: Web swap overrides contact settings:

• Swap Settings > Show Swaps.
• Swap Settings > Default is accept
