Setting up Loyalty Points Based on Products Purchased

Customers can be allocated loyalty points according to the amount they spend and/or for buying specified products.

Previous to this step you must have set up a loyalty points catalogue and set up the trader to use loyalty points.

  1. In the Stock menu, click Products. The Stock Card and Find Product windows open.
  2. Find the product select it, and click OK.
  3. In the Loyalty Points box, type the number of points that will be awarded for buying this product.

    Note: A value of 0 is a valid value and will supersede loyalty points set on a lower category in the hierarchy.

  4. In the Options and Settings group, select No spend loyalty.

    Note: If No spend loyalty is not selected, your customer will get the loyalty points awarded for products purchased and points for what they spend.

  5. Click Confirm.

When the product's order is invoiced and posted, that number of loyalty points will be added to the customer’s total.
