Define Security – User Options – Sales Order

To change user access to what can be used on sales order entry, or the sales order daybook:

1. On the Set-up menu, click Company.
2. On the tab row, click Logins.
3. In the Logins list, select the user. The line is highlighted.
4. Click Define Security. The Access Details window opens.
5. Click the User Options tab.
6. Select or clear the options:
   • Allow immediate use of last cost from selecting trader on purchase tab – when selected, when the user clicks the Purchase tab and selects the supplier, the user is automatically returned to the Details tab and the last cost is applied.
   • Allow immediate use of last price from history – when selected, when entering an order line, when the user presses Ctrl+L, then the Last Price will be applied and the focus will move on to the next line. When cleared, the Last Price will not be applied. This changes the function of the ellipsis […] button. When the option is clear, the button displays the Line history.
   • Allow pack change where no stock effect – when selected, Pack (on a sales order line) can be modified, if
   • Allow split packs – when selected, Pack (on a sales order line) can be modified, if the product has Split selected.

     Note: Can be overridden by Stock Card > Detail > Stock Info > Prevent Split in this Branch.

   • Hide Allocate for sales orders in daybook and entry – when selected, the Allocate button is hidden on the toolbar and context menus.
   • Hide CTI for sales orders in daybook and entry – when selected, the Convert To Invoice button is hidden on the toolbar and context menus,
   • Hide 'Purchase' tab on SORD and SQUO – When selected, the Purchase tab on sales orders and sales quotations is not displayed to the user.
   • Show Build Works Order button on SORD – when selected, the Build Works Order button is shown on the toolbar, and the button must be clicked to build auto-build product's works order. When cleared, the Build Works Order button is not shown and auto-build products will build automatically when closing the sales order.

7. Click Confirm.
