Trader Selection

You can select and save a group of traders that you want to target in your campaign. This group can be included or excluded from the campaign. You will have been creating a new campaign before opening Trader Selection.

  1. Click New to select a new group of traders, or from the Traders list, select an existing group, then click Edit. The Trader Selection window opens.

  2. The Primary and Additional criteria will be listed in the top pane. In the lower pane, complete the Trader and Contact criteria that constructs your trader selection.
  3. Under the Trader tab, from the lists, select criteria that define your trader selection, e.g. Business typesEducation. Make sure the associated All option is cleared.
  4. Click Preview. A list of contacts that will be part of the campaign are listed.

    Note: If no contacts are listed, then you have no traders that meet the criteria you have set. Some settings are set by default under the Contacts tab too.

  5. Under the Contacts tab, select criteria that define which contacts, linked to the traders you have already specified, should be contacted when using this trader selection.
  6. Click Preview. A list of contacts that will be part of the campaign are listed.
  7. Continue to refine your list until it meets your marketing goal.
  8. In the Save as box, type a name for your trader selection.
  9. Click Close. You are asked if you want to save your changes. Click Yes or No.
  10. If you saved the trader selection, it will now be selected in the Traders list.
