Stock Card – Detail – Web Attributes

Attributes are commonly imported from enhanced catalogue data. They are overwritten when importing new data, so we've created a new attribute type called Web Attributes. They are designed to allow you to add bespoke attribute data to a product, and display this data on HorizonWeb.

Adding a Web Attribute to a Product

1. On the Stock menu, click Products. The Stock Card opens.
2. Browse for the item you want to update, then double-click to open the product.
3. Click Web Attributes.
4. Below the grid, click the green plus. A line is added to the grid.
5. In the Name column, type an attribute name.
6. In the In Use column, select to show the attribute on HorizonWeb, or clear to hide it.
7. Click the green tick.

EXAMPLE

You want to add a storage attribute, to show whether the product should be stored frozen, chilled or at ambient temperature.

For a chilled product, add a web attribute with a Name Chilled.

 

HorizonWeb

Web attributes are displayed in the Product Details control, under the Features heading or tab.
