Email Overrides
Setting an email override changes the email account which HorizonWeb uses to handle emails. If nothing is set, then the Horizon Email Settings are used instead.

- Host – server address of the SMTP server which is used to send emails.
- Username – username to authenticate the connection to the SMTP server.
- Password – password to authenticate the connection to the SMTP server.
- Port – port for the smtp server.
- Use secure connection – select if the SMTP server authentication is secured with an SSL or TLS certificate.
- Email overrides for custom form pages
Note: If you have FTP access to your HorizonWeb files, you can use the C:Generic Control control to build a form – comprised of a series of text boxes – for your customers to fill in, for example, a Contact Us page or a catalogue request form.
- CC email address – address to which outgoing emails are carbon copied.
- Email subject – The subject used when Generic Control is used to send form contents.
- Email thank you message – type a message sent to the customer when the form's contents is successfully received.
- Email error message – type a message sent to the customer when the form is not received.
