Browse Options

  • Lead item only – only the lead item (from the lead catalogue), of a product, is displayed when browsing.
  • Allow customers to compare items – customers can compare products.
  • Show product rating control – customers can give a product a score out of five stars. Customers can only rate a product if they are logged in.
  • 'View' link on products page instead of 'Buy' – a View button is displayed on product pages, rather than Buy.
  • Default products page size – sets the default amount of products displayed on the products page when browsing.
  • Page size increments
  • Sectors page image size (px) – sets the product image size on the Sectors page.
  • Products list image size (px) – sets the product image size on the Products List page.
  • Brand browse logo size (px) – sets the product image size for the Brand Browse logo.
  • Products list brand logo size (px) – sets the image size for the Product List Brand logo.
  • Product details brand logo size (px) – sets the image size for the Product Details brand logo.
  • Product display image size (px) – sets the image size for the Product Display image.
  • Display hover images on the:
    • Products list page – full sized images are displayed when customers hover over images on the Products List page.
    • Favourite products page – full sized images are displayed when customers hover over images on the Favourite Products page.
    • Products details page – full sized images are displayed when customers hover over images on the Products Details page.
  • Hide discontinued products – Products, discontinued by the wholesaler, are not displayed.
    • Only when not logged in – Customers with accounts can order discontinued products, because a dealer may have stock.
  • Price sorting result size limit – Customers can sort a product list by code or price, ascending or descending. If over the typed number of products is returned, then these sort options are unavailable.
  • JumpTrack delivery tracker page size – The number of sales delivery and sales returns displayed. Default number of pages: 5. Minimum number of pages: 1.
  • Default sort order by – sets the default order products are listed in, on product browse. Select:
    • None
    • Code Ascending
    • Code Descending
    • Price Ascending
    • Price Descending
  • Use group product as header – Allows you to add custom information at the top of the Product browse screen at each of the different levels, for example - Business Machines, Office Machines or Calculator Accessories.
  • Include catalogue quantity breaks – Displays catalogue quantity breaks online.

    Note: This option relates to the display of quantity breaks on the product details page. Quantity breaks, if set in Horizon, will still apply to the product.

  • Display prices inc and ex VAT – Displays an option for the user to select whether the prices displayed either Include or Exclude VAT.
  • Display info on product details in 'tabber' – Displays the product information in a tab display below the item information.
  • Hide product icons on products list (increases speed) – Hides the product icons on the product list, this will increase the speed of HorizonWeb.
  • Browse page image size (px) – Defaults the image size on the Browse Page
  • Product details image size (px) – Defaults the image size on the Product Details image
  • Favourites list image size (px) – Defaults the image size on the Favourites List images
  • Include subgroups in browse if count > – If the number of products in a subgroup is greater than the number typed, when a customer is browsing, a subgroup is displayed, not a product list.
  • Call-off page image size (px)
  • Default ranges and groups sort order – changes the sequence of ranges, groups and subgroups displayed in controls [C:Top Sector Browse] (usually added from the master page), [C:Sector Browse] (usually added in the left side navigation) and [C:Browse] (from the Browse menu links).

    Note: This setting does not apply to sectors.

Click Save Settings when you have changed options.

Note: If a catalogue has Hide on web cleared, and an item is on contract, it appears in product search. If an item has Hide on Web cleared, and is on a contract, it won't.
