Using Sales Order Import

After configuring Order Import, orders can be imported by:

• Copying files to the order path
• Using FTP

Note: If you have set up an FTPS server to hold the order files, Orders and Receipts Import Service can be configured to use FTPS to transfer the files.

Copying Files

1. Collect the order files from the marketplace.
2. Copy the order files to the Order path. A mix of different order types can be copied to the order path.
3. The order files will be imported, and moved to the processed folder. The file's extension is changed to .processed. Any errors will be added to the Order import log.

Using FTP

1. Collect the order files from the marketplace.
2. Use an FTP client, (e.g. FileZilla, or the File Explorer in Windows) to upload the files to the configured folder. A mix of different order types can be copied to the order path.
3. The order files will be imported, and moved to the processed folder. The file's extension is changed to .processed. Any errors will be added to the Order import log.

Note: Use this method when you want to create your own CSV configuration.
