Set hide web on the Stock Card > Browse is used to set multiple items' Hide on web option.
- Search for items.
- Use extended selection on the search results.
- Click Set hide web.
You can also select items, then click Clear hide web to clear the option on those items.
EXAMPLE
You have some work wear that is available in different colours and sizes – they have multiple attributes – so you have already set up a master product with child products for each of the possible combinations of attributes. Your HorizonWeb customer can browse to the master product and select attributes (such as colour and size). The child product with those attributes is then added to the basket. You now want your customers to search for the master product on HorizonWeb not the child products.
- Search for the items using parameters that will return all the child products.
- Code – they may all have part of their item code in common. If that part is in the middle of the code, surround your search term with %.
- Description – they may share a common description, e.g. a range of polo shirts have a code starting DWPU within the description. Type this search term in to Words.
- Brand and Manufacturer may also be used to filter your search further.
- Select the items, that are child products, using extended selection.
- Click Set hide web. All the selected items will be hidden. Make sure you don't hide the master product.
