Machines

Horizon can be used as a field services solution, where you are leasing machines (or devices) to customers and charging them for each copy they make, recorded on the machine's meter.

Machines are used to record information about printers and photocopiers. Based on that information, you can invoice customers in line with your contract. Machines are synonymous to devices in Printanista or FMAudit. The two products can be used in conjunction to collect information about machines/devices' status, meters, counters and supplies, create orders for required supplies and generate invoices.

The Machines button will not be available unless a search for traders has returned a list of customers.

Sales Jobs can be created for any process where you may need to charge the customer for a service such as:

  • Installations
  • Maintenance
  • Repairs.

The products on a sales order or sales job can be linked to a machine. From each machine, you can then Show Parts, which will list the items, and the sales orders, sales jobs and sales invoices, linked to that machine.
