Note: It is recommended that any changes to options in this section are made when all other users are logged out.

Misc

These are the default settings for sales contracts when they are created.

  • Auto track pricesauto track prices affects margin deals.
    • When selected, the contract calculates a price based on the deal scope cost for the items used in the deal.
    • When cleared, it will use the prices in the contract.
  • Update sales cost from purchase – When selected, the cost in a sales order is updated from the purchase order.
  • Allow different prices per branch – When selected, users can offer different prices for each branch, by creating sales contracts for different customer branches.

    Note: You must also clear the option Use main trader > Contracts on the branch's Settings > Yes/No Options.

  • Allow catalogues per branch – When selected, users can distribute different catalogues for each branch.

    Note: You must also clear the option Use main trader > Catalogues on the branch's Settings > Yes/No Options.

  • Switch cost on switch sell – if you have a switch in place, the cost on the switched item is used rather than the cost on the original item.
  • Synchronize last cost between branches – When selected, Last Cost on the stock card is synchronized between different branches of the company.
  • Last cost any supplier – When selected, the product's last cost is updated when an item is bought from any supplier, not just the default supplier.
  • Last cost on POR price change – When selected, the product's last cost is updated when a user changes the price on a purchase order.
  • Last cost on PINV price change – When selected, the product's last cost is updated when a user changes the price on a purchase invoice.
  • Restrict switch sell to sales order – only allow switches to be used on sales order entry.
