Sales Data Extract
Sales data can be extracted from Horizon for use with the sales management software.
Before using Sales Data Extract:
- You must have a Sales Data licence. There are two types of licence:
- Sales Data – core data for CRM and analytics platforms including sales-i and Vecta. Included in the export are customers, products, groups, outstanding orders and history.
- Sales Data Extra – for customers in the Superstat dealer group, using INsight through Vecta. Additionally, extra order information, contacts, prospects (leads) and outstanding quotes are uploaded.
Send a request to our Support team using the Customer Portal.
- Horizon's Orders and Receipts Import Service is used to schedule the sending of data to your sales application. It must be installed, have a configured tenant and the service must be running. For Horizon Cloud users, we will set this up for you.
- Your data locations must be set up. Our Support team can help with that as well.
- Sales Data Extract is configured in Company Set-up. To permit a user to change Sales Data Extract settings, access must be granted through that user's Define Security settings.
- Data is sent via FTP, so you will need to ask your sales data provider (sales-i or the INsight team at Superstat) for your FTP account details to allow you to upload data to their FTP server.
