Convert a Sales Quotation to a Contract

Sales quotations can be converted to a contract.

Converting a Quotation to a Contract

1. On the Sales menu, click Quotations. The Sales Quotations daybook opens.
2. Click on the quotation you wish to convert and on the daybook toolbar click Contract.
3. In the Choose Deal Method message, click on a method and a type (or scope), then click OK. All the new contract's lines will use these settings. If you want to use a mix of methods and scopes, then you can edit the contract afterwards.

   

4. You are asked if you want to keep the original sales quotation. Click Yes to keep the original, or No to remove it as part of generating the sales contract.
5. You may be given the choice of using the pricing on the quotation, or using the catalogue price. To Use Quoted Costs, click Yes.
6. The new sales quotation will open.
