PayPal

PayPal is one of the payment gateways supported by HorizonWeb.

Prerequisites

• PayPal Business account

  Note: A PayPal Personal account cannot be used as a payment gateway with HorizonWeb. Your customers who use PayPal Personal, can pay you through PayPal Business, Opayo or Global Payments payment gateways.

• API Username
• API Password
• API Signature.

Setting up PayPal as a Payment Provider

1. Log in as an administrator to open the HorizonWeb Administrator Page.
2. From the HorizonWeb Administration page, click HorizonWeb Settings > Payment Details.
3. In the Select Payment Type list, click PayPal.
4. In the Play/Live list, click Test while you are testing PayPal and Live when you want your customers use it.
5. In the USERNAME box, type (or copy/paste) the username provided by PayPal.
6. In the PASSWORD box, type the password provided by PayPal.
7. In the SIGNATURE box, type (or copy/paste) the signature provided by PayPal.
8. In the CURRENCY box, type GBP.
9. Click Save.
