Template Picker

The HorizonWeb Template Picker lets you choose a template for your website.

HorizonWeb comes with three templates which your web developers can use as a basis for your design. Alternatively, you can use our Digital Services and have our design team work with you to create a custom e-commerce website design. For more information, please email eu-sales@ecisolutions.com.

Changing your template

1. Log-in to HorizonWeb with your admin username and password, and click Admin to open the HorizonWeb Administration Page.
2. Click HorizonWeb Designer > Template Picker.
3. Select your template.

   

4. The Merge with current template option should only be cleared if you want your existing site to be deleted, and a new site created. This cannot be undone. Most users will want to leave this option selected so the new template is merged with your current site.
5. Click Apply.

Custom Templates

HorizonWeb 4 has a Custom template feature. The three templates are used as base templates for your design. Any changes you make to the CSS can be saved as a custom template which takes priority (or cascades) over the base template. The base template and custom template must both be loaded for this feature to work correctly.

Saving your current template

1. In the Save new template box, type a name for your template;
2. In the Inherit CSS from list, select your base template, e.g. Template One;
3. Click Save Current Template. This custom template will now be available to load.

Loading a saved template

1. Select a template from the Load saved template list.
2. Select the Custom Template option.
3. Click Apply.
