Keyword Swaps are used to create aliases for keywords. When a customer searches on HorizonWeb, and the last word typed matches one of the keywords, it will search for the swap instead.
The keyword and swap must be larger than three characters.
Create a new keyword swap
- In the Set-up menu, click Web.
- Click the Keyword Swaps tab.
- Click within the blank row to add a new keyword/swap pair, and type them.
- Click the green tick below the list to confirm.
- In the toolbar, click Confirm. The keyword swap is active immediately, so you can test you keyword swap in HorizonWeb.
Example
Your customer wants a desk, so they search for Desk. Returned, will be desks, desk lights, desk diaries, desk calculators etc.
Add the keyword deskfurniture to all your desks. We'll add a feature to make this easier soon.
Add a keyword swap Desk > deskfurniture. The search will only return the products to which you have assigned the deskfurniture keyword.
