Lead Times

Adding Lead Times changes the delivery date for a product according to the item's consumer lead time. Lead time codes are entered for each supplier, so only that supplier’s catalogues' items are affected.

• If you do not add a lead time code, and the item has a Consumer lead , the default delivery date is today + the consumer lead;
• If you add a lead time code, and the item has a Consumer lead which matches the code, then the default delivery date is today + the Days to add.

Creating a Lead Time Code

1. On the Set-up menu, click Traders.
2. On the Browse tab, browse for the supplier to which you want to add lead times .
3. Click Settings > Supplier Settings > Lead Times.
4. Below the list, click the green tick. A new row is added to the list.
5. Within the row, in the Lead time Code column, type the code.
6. In the Days to Add column, type the number of days to increase the delivery date by, when this code is used.
7. Click the green tick button to confirm the update.
