Define Security – User Options – Stock Card
To change user access to what is displayed on the Stock Card:
- On the Set-up menu, click Company.
- On the tab row, click Logins.
- In the Logins list, select the user. The line is highlighted.
- Click Define Security. The Access Details window opens.
- Click the User Options tab.
- Select or clear the options:
- Allow changes on Stock F8 – when selected, Stock Card details can be updated.
- Allow Cost View on F8 – when selected, the item Cost is not displayed.
- Allow freetype bin location – when selected, the Bin can be edited.
Note: If selected, option overrides Allow changes on stock F8, so Bin can be updated.
- Enable Merge on Stock Card – when selected, the Merge button is available.
- Display item sales costing
Display Sales Costing Cleared Selected Sales Order > Purchase tab Cost: Lead item cost.
Cost cannot be updated.
Order code: lead item cost for every item.Cost: Item cost.
Cost can be updated.
Order Code: item cost for every item.Stock Card > Browse Cost: Item cost. Cost: Item cost. Stock Card Last cost: Lead item cost. Last cost: Last cost. Find Product Cost: Lead item cost. Cost: Item cost. - Hide Ignore distribution on F8 – when selected, the option is not displayed on Stock Card Browse.
- Hide Include out of use on F8 and Find Product – when selected, the option is not displayed on Stock Card Browse and Find Product within a transaction.
- Hide Suppliers tab on Stock Card – when selected, the Suppliers tab is not displayed for the user.
- Hide Add on F8 – when selected, the Add button is hidden on the toolbar.
- Click Confirm.
